Are you fucking serious? I had the pleasure of speaking to my daughter’s 7 year long distance best-friend and her parents today. My kid will be visiting their home for a few days while she look at a college she has applied to.
After out talk, my kid comes home. She has already talked to her friend about my call. So apparently I sound like I’m either a redneck, or drug addict.
What the hell, right? I have always hated my voice, because I do have damaged vocal cords from many surgeries I have had, and being tubed damaged them.
This cements my hatred of myself, and my voice.

So I invested $279 in a tablet this month. A gift to ME! I refuse to pay Apple’s outrageous price for a tablet. My hate for Apple is not new, nor a change so it’s no surprise I chose an Android tablet. I shopped, waited, reviewed, put tablets in my shopping cart, then found new and better deals. I then found the Archos G9 Series 10.1” screen. Has hi-def front facing camera for my skype.
ALSO added bonus: is in a week my Archos G9 get Google’s Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. Very cool, So research certainly pays off when buying electronics!

You know I have been a parent for damn near 18 years. So close to 18 years there are days, like today, that I look forward to that day 6 months from now.
You’ve done everything for your children. They have changed the very core of who you are, what you do, or don’t do. This is the point in time, I remember so well now, that I knew it all. She is there now. It is painful to hear those words pointed towards you sometimes. And sometimes it just pisses me the fuck off.
That is today, come on 6 months…
Tomorrow I will feel different surely.

Peaceful Occupy Oakland rally surrounded block by block as they disperse until they are cornered in front of the YMCA on Broadway. Then the loud-speaking amazingly works as police announce they refused to disperse and are under arrest. This is what brings about change, which goes after bloated fat-cats who are only self serving. This happened in the Arab Spring, toppling several regimes. Ours however is much more diffused. The fat-cats are barricaded within the system under the GOP banner.
